Long time ago I heard about the fact that Samsung makes a folding bed. I thought to myself that it was they who hit the “retro”. Although in fact there are enough consumers for classic clamshells.
And then look at the concept - well, finally, the time of identical, standard bricks stops! It is already impossible! It makes no sense to go to the store to look at smartphones - ALL THE SAME!
This is really a step forward and has touched new twists and turns in the devices of smartphones. Although more than a year agoAnnounced a revolution in smartphones.
But now it seems the matter has moved off dead center ...
According to rumors, Samsung will begin production of a folding smartphone in November. The head of the IT and mobile division of Samsung Electronics Dong Jin Koh (Dong Jin Koh) said that the company will introduce the device (which is currently called the Galaxy X) in 2019, and not in 2018, as previously assumed. Now, as GizmoChina reports, it became known that at CES, Samsung held a closed event, where it showed a Galaxy X prototype.
However, it must be said that this is not the first time that a South Korean corporation is demonstrating a preliminary version of a much-anticipated folding smartphone. In the same way, as reported, she showed a prototype at last year’s MWC.
This commercial has been around for many years.
The company invited various customers to a private screening at CES in order to receive user feedback. As one of the event attendees later reported, the Samsung foldable smartphone (or rather, the prototype shown) received a 7.3-inch flexible OLED screen.
What design will receive the Galaxy X, has not yet disclosed. According to rumors, Samsung is considering two options - with a display, folding either inward or outward. As mentioned above, at the moment it is expected that the company will present a smartphone with a flexible screen in 2019.
