Curry with Zira and Turkey


Reciperecently found by me in one of the booksBBC Good Food. Crazy Spice Blend, Wonderfularomasand a lot of tasty sauce. In the offseason is better not to think!
Dedicated to all fans of zeira, its really a lot.
In case the relation to this spice is quite neutral for you, 1 tsp is enough :)
700 g turkey (chicken will work too)
1.5-2 tbsp. zira
2 onions
1 tsp ground ginger
3 cloves of garlic
1 chili
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp garam masala
2 tsp. paprika
2 tbsp. tomato paste
125 ml of natural yogurt (+ some water)
vegetable oil
greens for feeding
salt, sugar
Onions and garlic peel, chop.
Heat oil in a skillet. Add cumin and lightly fry. Next put the onion, cook another 5-10 minutes, stirring.
Chile finely chopped, after removing the seeds.
Put garlic, chilli, ginger, paprika, turmeric and garam masala in a saucepan.
Add chicken and fry it all together quickly.
Then mix yogurt, tomato paste. If necessary, add a little water and stir. To taste add salt and sugar.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer until chicken is fully cooked.
Serve with greens.
Interest and taste for the sake of add fresh tomatoes and peppers.
It is not at all necessary to take fillets, it is even better to use chicken thighs or turkey thighs (generally meat on bone).
